Workshop Offerings
Ministers’ Seminar
The gospel ministry is more than preparing sermons and being called Reverend or Minister. The Ministers’ Seminar is designed for new ministers and individuals who seek to become ministers. Content of the seminar will bring attendees face-to-face with essentials needed for effective and lasting ministry. Sessions evoke thought and dialogue on the call to ministry, sermon preparation, leading worship, ethical and moral conduct, and more. This 1 ½ day seminar is held several times throughout the year, typically Friday evening and Saturday. The Seminar is limited to 10 participants.
The Educators’ Workshop
The Educators’ Workshop focuses on teaching practices and methodologies that enhance Christian fellowship and effective learning of the Bible and other guiding principles of the church. This workshop is appropriate for ministry leaders, church schoolteachers, teaching assistants and others responsible for providing education in a Christian setting. The Educators’ Workshop is tailored to client needs, led by subject-matter experts, and can range from a half-day to two-day sessions.
As an additional service, CFBA will completely assess your current training programs and make recommendations for creative and contemporary enhancements and improvements.
Primer for Church Administrative Staff
The church maintains an administrative staff just like other business offices. However, there are some major differences between the church and secular office settings. Participants in these training programs will review key administrative functions of the church and learn how to perform their work with confidence and a great sense of satisfaction. The Administrative Primer is recommended for those who require a basic understanding of church administration. Workshop participants are church administrators, finance, office and administrative staff. This is a one-day workshop.
Refresher for Church Administrative Staff
This refresher course is designed for church administrative staff with two or more years experience and wants to stay abreast of new technologies and developments in the profession. This is a one-day workshop.

Is there a disconnection between the greatness you seek for your institution and your ability to bring about this level of greatness?
CFBA’s one-on-one coaching helps unleash qualities that enable spiritual leaders to lead with greatness. These private consultations address personal challenges that hamper your professional performance in a religious or spiritual work environment. Coaching sessions are tailored to your professional concerns and can focus on a number of topics, including, personal communications, managing effectively, motivating others, inspiring spiritual growth, handling difficult people, and more.
Sessions are held by a certified CFBA consultant in the privacy of the client’s office, and typically run five to nine weeks depending on client’s needs. In addition, clients participate in self-assessment exercises, and receive a follow-up session approximately 30 days after final consultation.
