About the Center for Faith-Based Advancement
The Center for Faith-Based Advancement offers leadership and organizational development, strategic planning, and training for faith-based organizations that seek to overcome challenges impacting their growth and development. CFBA was born out of The Ministry Coach, founded in 2007 by Dr. Ethel Canty Bothuel and focuses on the quality of life, work, and growth in the faith community.
CFBA leads with integrity and engages clients in a process of prayerful discernment, organizational development, and strategic visioning designed to build congregations and accelerate the drive toward discipleship—the key to sustainability in the church—and loyalty to mission, which is necessary for any organization. It is the desire of CFBA to fulfill the Great Commission by extending the reach of the church and other faith-based organizations to the global society in which we all find ourselves positioned to serve. As well, CFBA engages a thoughtful process in its work with nonprofit organizations to assess their present and plan for their future.

Further, we offer our expertise to religious conventions, associations, schools of divinity and faith-based organizations.
